Community Work – Call for Volunteers

Would you like to become a volunteer and work with us on Tuesday mornings on our dune conservation activities?

The new year is here already and ProDunas Marbella, with Fundatul and Asociación Valores, is working tirelessly on activities related to environmental awareness and education.

Every Tuesday morning we go out to a different dune. We work on maintenance and conservation, manually grubbing out and digging up the different invasive alien species, so that they do not thrive and displace the vegetation native to the dunes.

Also, when the seeds and berries of the native vegetation are ripe, we harvest them. The degraded dune environments are reseeded using thsee seeds and berries collected in the “Dunas de Marbella” Ecological Reserve and / or in the “Dunas de Artola” Natural Monument. The workshops we organise about this work are always of great interest.
