DUNE CONSERVATION
Dune conservation 2026
Dear volunteers,
With the arrival of 2026, we continue our conservation work in the dune ecosystems along the Marbella coastline. One more year, we remain focused on protecting these fragile ecosystems, which are essential for biodiversity and the stability of our coasts.
The presence of invasive alien species continues to be one of the main challenges we face. For this reason, every Tuesday we resume control and restoration work, moving forward in a steady and coordinated way across the different dunes where we operate. The work carried out so far has led to visible improvements in several areas, thanks to the commitment and involvement of our volunteers.
Throughout 2026, we will keep you informed about the different planned actions, as well as the dates and intervention areas, so that we can continue joining forces in dune conservation.
Date: Tuesday, 20th of January 2026
