The ongoing commitment of our Association to ensure the recovery, rehabilitation, protection and conservation of the beautiful biodiversity which exists in the different coastal ecosystems of Marbella has inspired
Rini Antonissen (Holland)
to sponsor us. In his artistic work he has wanted to reflect and record the beauty of each dune environment here in Marbella. Rini is a long-time member of ProDunas.
For the ProDunas Association it is an honour that our much appreciated partner and renowned Dutch artist has chosen the background of the unique dune ecosystems, and given them (immortality) expression in his canvases.

Short Currículum of Rini Antonissen
(Holland 1962)
Rini Antonissen (Netherlands 1962) studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Art in s’Hertogenbosch (NL) and painting in New York with Professor Joshua Neustein in 1985. Many Paintings and sculptures of his are in private collections in the Netherlands, the USA: New York, San Diego and Boston, Germany, Italy, Spain, Dubai and Hong Kong.
Large exterior sculptures of his are on display in Huizen (cast iron), Amsterdam (bronze) and Alphen aan de Rijn (bronze).
For the past 25 years he has divided his time between Amsterdam – where he runs art galleries – and Marbella.

Asociación ProDunas Marbella
The Association works tirelessly for the defence and preservation of the unique ecosystems that survive in the natural sand dune environments in the Province of Málaga; promotes the protection of native flora and small wildlife; promotes recovery, rehabilitation and conservation of interesting biodiversity of sand dunes areas in the municipality of Marbella.
