LIST OF SAND DUNES AREAS SPONSORED BY SCHOOLS
We have offered to all the schools:
– Lecture with slides at the School premises
– Walk through the sand dunes.
– Eradication of Highway Ice plant (Carpobrotus edulis)
– Cleaning of the sponsored sand dunes area
– Reforestation in areas that have suffered mishaps
– School transportation for Schools in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara
– School logo on the information sign-boards that will be placed in all
the sponsored sand dunes areas
– Congratulations for all School children at the End of Course 2013-2014
by the Mayoress and the Delegate of the Environment
With this pioneering initiative we strongly believe that the last remaining sand dunes in the Municipality of Marbella will be treated with more respect and admiration.

Asociación ProDunas Marbella
The Association works tirelessly for the defence and preservation of the unique ecosystems that survive in the natural sand dune environments in the Province of Málaga; promotes the protection of native flora and small wildlife; promotes recovery, rehabilitation and conservation of interesting biodiversity of sand dunes areas in the municipality of Marbella.
