EASTER BUNNY MASK

• Colour and cut out the mask. You can use the cut out the pieces of the eyes to draw Easter eggs.
• Use the straps on the left to adjust the mask to your head gluing them onto the flaps of the mask.
• Colour and trim the tail or glue some cotton wool to it to make it look just like a bunny.

A sea monster has set off all the alarms, and finally an expedition is organized to capture it, including the famous professor of Natural History, Pierre Aronnax, his assistant Conseil and the Canadian expert harpooner Ned Land, aboard the American frigate Abraham Lincoln.

The monster turns out to be a surprising submarine under Captain Nemo, and the fact that it must be kept a secret poses a serious problem for the captain regarding the release of the three main characters

Deciphering an inscription engraved by a 16th-century Icelandic alchemist, Arne Saknussemm, reveals to the mineralogy professor Otto Lidenbrock how to get to the centre of the Earth. Together with his nephew Axel and a guide named Hans, he decides to venture on an expedition into the bowels of our planet through the vent of the Icelandic Snæfellsjökull volcano.

I lived like this, alone, truly with no one to talk to, until I had a breakdown in the Sahara desert six years ago. Something broke in the engine. And since I had neither a mechanic nor passengers, I set about carrying out, alone, a difficult repair. It was, for me, a matter of life and death. I had water for barely eight days. The first night, I slept on the sand a thousand miles away from the nearest inhabited land. I was more isolated than a castaway on a raft in the middle of the ocean. Imagine, then, my surprise when, at daybreak, a strange little voice woke me up saying: “Please … draw me a lamb!”

The Nemo small fry, who is an only child, is loved and protected by his father. After being caught on an Australian reef, he ends up in the fish tank of a Sydney dentist’s office. His shy father will undertake a dangerous adventure to rescue him. But Nemo and his new friends also have a cunning plan to escape the fish tank and return to the sea.

Many, many years ago, as many as 20,000, a little pirate named Scrat wanted to hide an acorn in the ice. But what it does is provoke a semi-catastrophe that causes all animals to migrate south to warmer lands. There is only one who disagrees: the mammoth, Manfred, a true proud, lone wolf who heads north alone.

Every day the lazy Mr. D’Abondo and his faithful servant Rosendo cross the Fraga (Escarpment) Cecebre exclaiming: ‘God bless me if it doesn’t seem to me that the whole forest is alive’. One day some men plant a new tenant, a cocky telephone pole. Here the problems begin, and if there is a problem expert, that is Furi, a nice little mole in love with Linda, and who one day disappears along with the entire mole colony of the escarpment. The forest dwellers will unite to solve the problem and bring harmony and happiness back to the forest.

Ingredients for a mould of 20 centimetres in diameter: 2 plate-sized sheets of frozen puff pastry, 400 g of strawberries, 80 g of brown sugar, 100 g of ground almonds, 20 g of butter, 1 tablespoon of flour.

Preparation: Start by washing the strawberries, drying them well and cutting them in half. Grease a cake pan and dredge it with the tablespoon of flour. Spread one of the frozen puff pastry sheets on top of the mould. Preheat the oven, with both the top and bottom elements turned on, to 210 degrees. Mix the ground almonds with half the brown sugar and spread this mixture over the puff pastry, distributing it equally. Add the strawberries. Cut the other puff pastry sheet into strips one centimetre thick and arrange them on top of the strawberries creating a lattice. Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar over the puff pastry and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature.

Ingredients: 1 Yogurt – the flavour that you like best. Olive oil: same amount as the yogurt; Sugar: twice the measure of the yogurt; Pastry flour: three times the measure of the yogurt; 3 eggs, 8 gr yeast powder – half a packet if you are using Royal or something similar; optional: lemon zest and butter to grease the mould

Preparation: Nothing is easier than this yogurt cake recipe, as long as you remember steps 1, 2, and 3, in the order just explained. In a bowl, put the content of a glass of yogurt and add three eggs, one measure of sunflower oil and two measures of sugar and 3 measures of flour and the yeast. Stir the mixture to distribute this evenly. If you want your cake to have a more citrus flavour, you can add the zest of a lemon. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180ºC for about ten minutes and grease a sponge cake mould. Let the mixture bake without opening the oven door for 45 minutes. 5 minutes from the end, check if it is cooked by inserting a wooden skewer into the dough. If it comes out clean, our cake is ready. If the skewer has sticky stuff on it, wait another five minutes and then turn off the oven.

Ingredients: 2 or 3 apples, 3 large eggs, 50 g of butter, 250 ml of semi-skimmed milk, 5 level tablespoons of cornflour, 150 g of sugar, 1 envelope of chemical yeast, liquid caramel to bathe the mould, 3 tablespoons of apricot or apple jam to glaze the cake.

Preparation: Spread the liquid caramel on the base and the sides of the mould. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Melt the butter in a bowl at medium heat for a few seconds so that it turns liquid and warm the jam for a few seconds. Put these to one side while preparing the dough. In a tall glass mix the cornflour, the eggs, the milk, the sugar, the envelope of yeast and the melted butter. Beat these together until well mixed. Pour the mixture into the mould and put the apple slices on top.

Microwave: Put the mixture in the microwave and cook at 800 watts for five minutes, let stand for a further five minutes in the microwave, then cook for another four minutes at 800 watts. Check with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean. If not, give it another minute or two depending on your microwave. Glaze it carefully with the jam and grill for one minute to brown the surface. Let it cool and then refrigerate before eating.

If you are using an ordinary oven: Preheat it to 180º, then bake for about 35 minutes without opening the oven door. Check it with the tip of a knife to make sure it is cooked through. If not leave the cake in the oven  for a further 5 minutes, then leave it to cool before refrigerating.
