In March of the year 2017 and for months we undertook intensive contacts with the different public administrations, with the scientific and business world to gather information and support to the more than necessary project proposed by our Association to the Town Hall of Marbella, of the need to implement multifunction artificial reefs on the coast with dunes, east of Marbella.

We leave you a interesting video of the reefs in Valencia that shows that in only 2 years, the reefs are fully integrated into the underwater landscape and the sea begins to fill with color, appearing golden, seahorses and invertebrates such as cuttlefish and octopus.

This successful project could perfectly move to Marbella, since we talk about the same distance from the beach shore
and the same depth at the bottom of the sea.
Unfortunately, the research work that we had started with absolute seriousness, has been totally forgotten. It is difficult for ProDunas to understand this lack of adhesion, since the objective was and continues to be:
Stabilize the beaches and thereby save the different dune ecosystems that are in danger of disappearing.

According to the criteria of ProDunas, the initial economic investment means a minimum effort to achieve the beneficial final result.
